UNITRONIC® BUS PB H FC Data Bus Cable

UNITRONIC® BUS PB H FC 1x2x0.64 cable is a high-quality cable designed for data transmission in bus systems such as PROFIBUS-DP, -FMS and FIP. The use of shielding provides effective suppression of electromagnetic interference, guaranteeing reliable operation in harsh industrial conditions. The construction with polyurethane (P) and an outer jacket made of polyethylene (PE) ensures durability and resistance to mechanical damage.

This cable is ideal for both stationary installations in dry and humid environments. Thanks to the Fast Connect (FC) construction, installation is quick and easy. It is worth noting the versions marked as "H", which are halogen-free – important in applications where fire safety is crucial.

Application and construction

The UNITRONIC® BUS PB H FC cable is widely used in industrial automation, machine building and control systems. It is compatible with DIN 19245 and EN 50170 standards, ensuring its versatility and ability to integrate with various devices, e.g. SIEMENS SIMATIC NET.

The cable construction includes two cores with a diameter of 0.64 mm, allowing data transmission at speeds up to 12 Mbit/s over a distance of up to 100 meters (depending on the transmission speed). The cable weight is approximately 72 kg/km, and the outer diameter is 26 mm. Transmission speeds affect the maximum length of the bus segment: at 93.75 kbit/s, up to 1200 m can be achieved, and at 12.0 Mbit/s – up to 100 m.
