Bus cable for PROFIBUS DP/FMS/FIP systems

Construction and application

The cable consists of single copper strands insulated with polyethylene (PE). Shielding with a copper braid and laminated aluminum foil creates an effective barrier against electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable signal transmission. Two outer PVC jackets – violet and black – increase the cable's mechanical strength and resistance to UV radiation. This allows the cable to be used in harsh environmental conditions, including direct burial.
