Construction and properties

The MEGAFLEX 500 cable is characterized by a solid construction. It is made of stranded copper wire (class 5), which provides high flexibility and resistance to mechanical fatigue. The core insulation is made of a special halogen-free polymer, which increases safety in the event of a fire – it limits the release of toxic gases and smoke. Black cores are marked with white numbers for easy identification, and versions with a yellow-green protective core (marked with the symbol "G") provide additional safety. The outer jacket made of halogen-free polymer protects the cable from mechanical damage, the influence of oils, UV radiation and atmospheric factors.

The cable meets a number of European and international standards, including DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11 / DIN EN 50525-3-11 and UL-Style 20939, UL-Std. 758, which confirms its high quality and safety. It also has a CE certificate, guaranteeing compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.
