Construction and properties

The MEGAFLEX 500 5G6 cable stands out with its advanced construction, ensuring long-lasting and safe operation. It is made of multi-wire copper conductors (class 5), which guarantees high flexibility and resistance to bending. The core insulation is made of a special halogen-free polymer, which minimises the risk of toxic gases forming in the event of a fire. Black cores are marked with white numbers for easy identification, and the yellow-green protective conductor provides additional safety. The whole is surrounded by a durable, grey (RAL 7001) coating made of halogen-free polymer, resistant to oils, UV radiation and weathering.

The cable meets the stringent standards DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11 / DIN EN 50525-3-11 and UL-Style 20939 / UL-Std. 758, confirming its high quality and compliance with European safety standards. In addition, the cable has passed tests confirming its self-extinguishing and flame-retardant properties.
