Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction, ensuring long-lasting and safe operation. The multi-strand, flexible copper conductors, class 5, are insulated with PVC and then twisted in pairs. In addition, the cable has a shielding braid of tinned copper, which minimizes electromagnetic interference. The outer PVC jacket provides protection against mechanical damage and weathering. It is worth noting the compliance of materials with the requirements regarding the absence of silicone, cadmium and substances hindering painting.

This cable is ideal for use in potentially explosive areas, such as refineries, mines, chemical plants and anywhere there is a risk of a spark igniting flammable or explosive substances. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 and the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). Thanks to the twisted pair construction and shielding, it guarantees electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and the two-sided contact of the copper braid with the terminals further optimizes this property.
