This blue, shielded OZ-BL-CY 12x2.5 cable is a flexible solution for installation in areas at risk of explosion. The control and measuring cable is designed for use in intrinsically safe systems, where reliability and safety are crucial. Thanks to the copper braid screen, it effectively minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is particularly important in precise control and measurement systems.

Construction and application

This cable is used in control and measurement installations in potentially explosive areas, where high resistance to external factors is required. Made of multi-strand copper wire, insulated with PVC, it provides flexibility and durability. Twisted strands and an insulating foil under the screen increase resistance to mechanical damage and environmental influences. The blue PVC coating (RAL 5015) identifies it as intended for intrinsically safe -i- systems. The cable is not intended for direct burial.
