Construction and properties

The UNIPUR 25G0,5 cable stands out with its solid construction. It has 25 copper strands, twisted in accordance with DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228 (class 5 – flexible) standards. Each strand is insulated with thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), which ensures high resistance to abrasion, cuts and notches. The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) additionally protects the cable from the influence of oils, greases, water and atmospheric factors. This ensures that the cable retains its properties over a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +90°C. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 15.6 mm.

This cable is also resistant to UV radiation and hydrolysis, making it ideal for outdoor and harsh industrial environments. The materials used in production are silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substance-free. In addition, the cable complies with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).
