Flexible control cable UNIPUR-CP – reliability in harsh conditions

This shielded UNIPUR-CP control cable combines flexibility, durability and resistance to external factors. The cable is designed for demanding applications where standard cables fail. Thanks to the use of a special combination of materials – thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) for core insulation and polyurethane (PUR) for the outer jacket – the cable retains its properties over a wide temperature range, from -40°C to +90°C. This is an ideal solution for both installers and end users looking for reliable and durable cabling.

Construction and properties

The UNIPUR-CP cable is distinguished by its advanced construction, which ensures its unique parameters. It is made of stranded copper wire according to DIN VDE 0295 class 5, which guarantees good flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. The cores are insulated with TPE, and their identification is done by colour (up to 5 cores) or by black cores with white numbering (from 6 cores). The cable has a green-yellow protective core from 3 cores upwards, placed in the outer layer. A screen of tinned copper wires provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is particularly important in industrial environments and applications sensitive to interference. The outer jacket made of PUR TMPU provides resistance to oils, greases, water, climate change, ozone, oxygen and UV radiation.
