Construction and properties

The cable stands out with its advanced construction, which guarantees its unique properties. It uses 18 copper strands, twisted according to DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228 standards. Each strand is insulated with thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), which ensures excellent flexibility even at low temperatures – down to -40°C. The strands are twisted in parallel for optimal twist pitch and wrapped in foil for additional protection. A key element is the screen made of tinned copper wires (approx. 85% coverage), which minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC). The whole is surrounded by a durable outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR TMPU) in accordance with DIN EN 50363-10-2.

The cable is characterized by high resistance to oils, greases, water, climate change, ozone, oxygen and UV radiation. It is also resistant to hydrolysis and the action of microorganisms. In addition, the materials used in production are silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substance-free. This makes the cable usable in a wide range of industrial and domestic applications.
