Flexible cable UNIPUR-CP – reliability and durability in every application
This shielded control cable, manufactured in accordance with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-21 and DIN EN 50525-2-21 standards, is an ideal solution for demanding applications. It is characterized by exceptional flexibility over a wide temperature range, from -40°C to +90°C, making it indispensable in harsh working conditions. A rated voltage of up to 500 kV guarantees safe and stable operation of devices.
Construction and properties
The UNIPUR-CP cable stands out with its careful construction. Copper strands, made of twisted strand class 5, ensure good conductivity and flexibility. Insulation made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) provides high resistance to abrasion, cuts and notches. A screen made of tinned copper wires minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is particularly important in precise control systems. The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) protects the cable from external factors such as oils, greases, water, climate change and UV radiation.
Additionally, the cable is resistant to hydrolysis and microbes, which increases its durability and reliability. The materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free and do not contain substances that interfere with painting.
