Construction and properties

The UNIPUR-CP cable stands out with its advanced construction, which guarantees its unique properties. Made of 25 copper strands, twisted according to DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228 standards, it provides excellent conductivity and flexibility. Each strand is insulated with thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), which ensures resistance to abrasion, stretching and the influence of chemicals. A screen made of tinned copper wires effectively minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC), protecting sensitive devices. The whole is surrounded by a durable polyurethane (PUR) coating, which provides resistance to oils, greases, water, climate change, UV radiation and microbiological action.

The cable remains flexible even at extremely low temperatures – down to -40°C – making it ideal for outdoor use and in harsh industrial conditions. In addition, the materials used in production are silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substance-free. The nominal conductor cross-section is 0.5 mm², and the rated voltage U/U0 is 500/300 V (up to 1 mm²) or 750/450 V (from 1.5 mm²). The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 16.3 mm.
