This shielded control cable, manufactured according to DIN VDE 0285-525-2-21 and DIN EN 50525-2-21 standards, is an ideal solution for demanding applications. It is characterized by exceptional flexibility over a wide temperature range, from -40°C to +90°C, making it indispensable in harsh working conditions. A rated voltage of up to 500V guarantees safe and efficient operation in various installations.

Construction and properties

The UNIPUR-CP 41G0,5 cable stands out with its careful construction. It consists of 41 stranded, flexible copper wires (class 5), insulated with thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). These wires are twisted in parallel, ensuring optimal twist pitch and minimizing the risk of mechanical damage. A screen made of tinned copper wires (coverage approx. 85%) effectively protects against electromagnetic interference (EMC), and the outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) provides resistance to oils, greases, water, climatic changes and UV radiation. In addition, the materials used in production are silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substance-free.

It will also be useful on construction sites, in hobbies or in docks. Compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking) guarantees safe use. For optimal electromagnetic compatibility, it is recommended to have a two-sided contact of the copper braid with the terminals (e.g. cable glands). Available jacket colors on request allow you to adapt the cable to specific installation requirements.
