Construction and properties

The UNIPUR-CP 18G1,5 cable is characterized by an advanced construction that guarantees its long-lasting and trouble-free operation. It is made of 18 copper conductors with a cross-section of 1.5 mm², insulated with thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). The conductors are twisted in parallel, which ensures optimal twist pitch and minimizes the risk of damage during operation. A screen made of tinned copper wires effectively reduces electromagnetic interference, and the outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) protects the cable from abrasion, cuts, the influence of oils, water and extreme temperatures.

The cable remains flexible even at very low temperatures – down to -40°C – making it an ideal solution for outdoor work or in difficult industrial conditions. In addition, the materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substances.
