Flexible cable UNIPUR-CP – reliability in harsh conditions

This shielded control cable UNIPUR-CP is a proposal for professionals and demanding users who need a reliable solution in challenging applications. Manufactured in accordance with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-21 and DIN EN 50525-2-21 standards, it ensures safety and long-term operation. The cable is characterized by exceptional flexibility over a wide temperature range, from -40°C to +90°C, making it ideal for outdoor use and in harsh industrial environments.

Construction and properties

The UNIPUR-CP cable is designed for durability and resistance to damage. It consists of stranded copper conductors, insulated with thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), which provides them with high flexibility. The conductors are twisted in parallel, and the whole is wrapped in foil for additional protection. A screen made of tinned copper wires minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is crucial in many industrial applications. The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) provides resistance to oils, greases, water, climate change, ozone, UV radiation and abrasion. Additionally, the materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free and do not contain substances that interfere with painting.
