Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction using high-quality materials. The core insulation is made of a special halogen-free polymer, which increases safety in the event of a fire – it limits the release of toxic gases and smoke. Black cores are clearly marked with white numbers, and the protective conductor (yellow-green) is present in 3-core and larger configurations, making correct installation easier. The whole is surrounded by a durable outer jacket made of halogen-free polymer in gray (RAL 7001). The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 9.1 mm.

The MEGAFLEX 500 cable has been tested and meets strict safety standards, such as DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11 / DIN EN 50525-3-11 and UL-Style 20939, UL-Std. 758. It also has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU. It is resistant to oils, greases, UV radiation and hydrolysis. This makes it ideal for demanding industrial and outdoor conditions.
