Flexible halogen-free cable for industrial applications

This flexible control cable, designated OZ-500 HMH 2x6, is designed for demanding industrial applications. It is characterized by high fire resistance and resistance to external factors, making it an ideal choice for installations in areas exposed to fire risk or exposure to oils. This cable is particularly recommended for use in machines, conveyors, production lines, and in the construction of industrial installations.

This cable is distinguished by a construction that provides high flexibility and durability. Made of stranded copper wire, it has insulation made of halogen-free TI6 mixture, which ensures safety in the event of a fire – it limits the release of toxic gases. Black cores are numbered with white digits for easy identification. The outer jacket made of TM7 mixture further protects the cable against mechanical damage and weathering.

Construction and properties

Cable OZ-500 HMH 2x6 is designed in accordance with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/DIN EN 50525-2-51 and DIN VDE 0285-525-3-11/DIN EN 50525-3-11 standards. Its operating temperature range is from -15°C to +70°C (flexible) and from -40°C to +70°C (stationary). The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500 V, and the test voltage is 2000 V. The minimum bending radius is 12.5 x outer diameter during flexible operation and 4 x outer diameter during fixed installation. The cable is radiation resistant up to 100 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (up to 100 Mrad).
