Flexible halogen-free control cable

This shielded, flexible 500V JZ-500 HMH-C cable is a reliable solution for applications in machines, conveyor belts, production lines, air conditioning systems and steel mills. The cable is designed for both stationary and flexible installations where resistance to mechanical and chemical factors is required. Thanks to the copper braid screen, it provides interference-free transmission of signals and pulses, which is crucial in control and measurement systems.

The cable is characterized by a construction that meets safety standards – it is halogen-free and flame-retardant, minimizing the risk of toxic gas formation in the event of a fire. This is particularly important in places with increased fire protection requirements. In addition, the materials used in production do not contain cadmium or silicone, making it environmentally friendly.

Construction and properties

The JZ-500 HMH-C cable is characterized by a solid construction ensuring long-lasting and reliable operation. It consists of stranded copper conductors, insulated with halogen-free TI6 mixture, twisted in parallel and protected by a separating foil. The screen braided from tinned copper wires (85% coverage) effectively protects against electromagnetic interference. The whole is surrounded by a halogen-free sheath made of TM7 mixture in grey color (RAL 7001). The conductors are numbered with digits for easy identification during installation.

• Insulation: Halogen-free TI6 mixture ensures safety and minimizes the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire.
• Screen: Braid of tinned copper wires effectively suppresses electromagnetic interference.
• Outer sheath: Halogen-free TM7 mixture increases resistance to mechanical damage and atmospheric factors.
• Rated voltage: 500 V – universal application in electrical installations.
• Permissible operating temperature: From -40°C to +70°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +70°C (flexible) – a wide temperature range allows the cable to be used in various environmental conditions.
