Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction designed for long-term and trouble-free operation. The copper core, made of twisted strands, ensures good conductivity and flexibility. The PVC TI2 insulation guarantees resistance to chemical and mechanical factors. The braided screen made of copper wires minimizes the influence of electromagnetic interference on the transmitted signal. The outer jacket made of PVC TM2 protects the cable from external damage.

It is worth noting the wide range of operating temperatures – from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -5°C to +80°C (flexible). In addition, the materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free and do not interfere with painting. Applications and installation

The TRONIC-CY cable is used in computer systems, control and measuring devices, and in flexible connections where tensile stresses do not occur. Due to its small diameter, it is ideal for miniaturized circuits. It can be used in dry, damp and wet rooms (but not outdoors). For optimal electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), it is recommended to ensure bilateral contact of the copper braid with the terminals using cable glands. The minimum bending radius is 5x cable diameter for fixed laying and 10x cable diameter during flexible operation.
