Flexible cable for cable carriers – reliability in demanding applications
This specialized cable, designated as SErwo topSErv 121 4x2,5+2X(2x1), is designed for use in cable carriers, offering exceptional flexibility and durability. Made from high-quality materials, it provides a reliable power and control connection in demanding industrial conditions. This cable is particularly recommended for dynamic applications where resistance to bending and high mechanical loads is required.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a solid construction, utilizing stranded copper conductors of class 6, ensuring high flexibility. The core insulation is made of polypropylene, and the outer jacket of polyurethane (PUR), guaranteeing resistance to abrasion, oils, hydrolysis and UV radiation. A shielding braid made of copper wires provides protection against electromagnetic interference. The power cores are arranged in parallel with a stabilizing filler, and the control cores are available in a 2x(2x1) configuration. The whole is surrounded by an orange (RAL 2003) PUR jacket.
This cable meets the strict DESINA® standards, confirming its high quality and safety of use. The materials used in production are silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substance free. Additionally, it is resistant to cleaning and disinfecting agents in accordance with ECOLAB®.
