Flexible cable for motors and servo drives
This exceptionally flexible SErvo topSErv 109 cable with an outer diameter of 10.7 mm is designed for use in demanding industrial environments. The 4-core cable with a cross-section of 2.5 mm², with polyurethane (PUR) insulation, provides a reliable connection in applications such as robotics, automation and CNC machines. The shielded braid construction minimizes electromagnetic interference, and the halogen-free insulation material increases safety.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by an advanced construction, ensuring high durability and flexibility. The multi-wire (class 6) copper cores are insulated with halogen-free polypropylene. The power cores are marked with black color with printing indicating the core number and its purpose (U/L1/C/L+, V/L2, W/L3/D/L). Additionally, the cable has a yellow-green protective core. The screen in the form of a braid of copper wires provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference. The outer jacket made of PUR is resistant to abrasion, oils, hydrolysis, UV radiation and microorganisms. This makes the cable ideal for use in harsh industrial conditions.
Applications and operating parameters
This cable works perfectly in connections of motors powering and controlling, where a simultaneous braking and thermal protection function is required. It is particularly recommended for use in robotics, the tool industry and everywhere where high reliability and durability of connections are essential. The cable can be used in cable chains in accordance with installation rules.
The cable is characterized by the following parameters: the operating temperature range is from -30°C to +80°C flexibly and from -40°C to +90°C stationary. The rated voltage is VDE U0/U 600/1000 V and UL/CSA 1000 V. The insulation resistance is at least 20 MOhm/km, and the coupling resistance is at most 250 Ohm/km. The minimum bending radius is approximately 7.5 times the cable diameter for flexible applications and 4 times the cable diameter for fixed installation. The screen is made of a braid of copper wires covering approximately 85% of the surface, and the jacket color is orange (RAL 2003).
The cable meets the requirements of UL AWM Style 21223 or UL AWM Style 20234, CSA AWM VDE and is compatible with Siemens (6FX5008-), Lenze and Bosch Rexroth standards.
