Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by multi-wire copper conductors (class 5), which give it exceptional flexibility. The core insulation is made of special PVC TI2, and the whole is surrounded by a durable polyurethane (PUR) coating. This combination of materials guarantees resistance to abrasion, oils, greases, fuels, weather conditions and UV radiation. In addition, the cable is resistant to microorganisms, seawater and rotting. It is worth emphasizing that the materials used are silicone, cadmium and lacquer-inhibiting substance-free. The cable has an orange outer coating (RAL 2003) and is supplied in meter lengths.

Applications and benefits

The PUR-JZ cable is widely used in mechanical engineering, metallurgy, the oil and coal sectors and on construction sites. It is suitable as a power cable for portable industrial equipment and wherever there is contact with chemicals. Thanks to its high flexibility, it retains its properties even at low temperatures (down to -40°C after installation), making it ideal for working in difficult conditions. Compliance with DIN VDE 0285-525-1 /DIN EN 50525-1 and the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU confirms its safety and quality. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter during flexible operation and 4 x diameter for fixed laying, which facilitates installation even in tight spaces. The rated voltage U is 500V and the conductor cross-section is 1 mm².
