Precision measurement in difficult conditions and on small conductors
This clamp meter combines the ability to measure current up to 1000A and voltage up to 1000V, while offering advanced True RMS functionality for both quantities. Thanks to this, the device not only measures RMS values but also accounts for the DC component in AC/DC circuits, which is crucial when diagnosing modern installations with inverters or emergency power systems. The built-in low-pass filter (LPF) enables reliable AC voltage readings even in the presence of high-frequency interference, such as that generated by variable-frequency drives.
A specialist advantage of this model is the unique AmpTip™ function. Instead of relying solely on standard clamps, which may be insufficient for thin conductors, the device features a special notch in the upper part of the jaws. This allows precise measurement of currents up to 60A on conductors with small diameters, a task often impossible or highly error-prone using traditional clamp methods. For broader applications, the standard clamp method supports ranges up to 1000A.
Advanced diagnostics and operational safety
The device has been designed with demanding industrial and installation environments in mind. High levels of overvoltage protection and input overload resistance ensure equipment durability even in the event of unforeseen network incidents. The safety classifications CAT III 1000V and CAT IV 600V mean it can be safely used in main distribution boards and at low-voltage connection points.
To facilitate work in poorly lit areas (e.g., basement distribution rooms or behind cabinets), the manufacturer has equipped the model with a backlit LCD display and a built-in flashlight. Additional features supporting diagnostics include:

This allows detection of short-term spikes in motor inrush currents or voltage pulses that might be missed during continuous measurement. Operator safety is a priority – the robust construction and compliance with CAT III 1000V / CAT IV 600V standards allow direct work at main power sources without risk of equipment damage or personal injury. Additionally, tools that facilitate work include a flashlight and LCD backlighting for visibility in dark technical areas, as well as the non-contact voltage detection (EF) function, which quickly indicates phase presence without physical contact with the circuit.
