This gravity drain, designed for roofs and terraces with pedestrian traffic, is a reliable solution for water drainage. Equipped with a heating element powered by 230V, it effectively prevents the formation of ice and snow around the outlet, ensuring continuous operation of the system throughout the year. The vertical construction with a diameter of DN160 guarantees an efficient water flow – up to 6.0 l/s – minimizing the risk of stagnation.
Versatility and easy installation
The drain has been designed with installation flexibility in mind. The possibility of using a DN160 spigot connection or a compensating socket from the HDPE pipe manufacturer allows adaptation to existing infrastructure. The included PVC collar facilitates a tight connection with PVC membranes, ensuring the integrity of the waterproofing layer. Additionally, a wide range of accessories (supporting and drainage rings of the HL350/HL65 series) allows adaptation of the drain to different roof layer arrangements, which will be appreciated by both installers and building owners.
Solid construction and durability
The drain made of high-quality polypropylene (PP) is characterized by corrosion resistance and mechanical damage resistance. The grate made of stainless steel not only provides an aesthetic appearance but also effectively stops larger contaminants, such as leaves and branches, protecting the system from clogging.
