Flexible halogen-free control cable JZ-500 HMH

The JZ-500 HMH cable is a flexible, multi-core control cable designed for safety and reliability in a variety of applications. Made from high-quality materials, including a halogen-free insulation and outer jacket, it minimizes the risk of toxic gas formation in the event of a fire. This cable is used in industrial installations, machines, conveyors and buildings – anywhere where flexibility, mechanical damage resistance and high fire protection are required.

Construction and properties

The JZ-500 HMH cable is characterized by a careful construction that ensures long-lasting and trouble-free operation. Copper strands, twisted into a class 5 rope (flexible stranded), are insulated with a halogen-free TI6 mixture. Black cores are permanently marked with white numbers for easy identification. The protective core (in 3- and 4-core versions) is yellow-green. The whole is surrounded by a halogen-free outer jacket made of TM7 mixture in grey (RAL 7001). This construction provides resistance to abrasion, moisture and the action of oils and lubricants.

Additionally, it meets the requirements regarding low corrosive substance content and low smoke emission during combustion (DIN VDE 0482 part 1034-1+2/DIN EN 61034-1+2).
