Flexible cable OZ-500 HMH – reliability and safety in every installation

This halogen-free 500V control cable is a proposal for professionals and end-users who value safety, durability and compliance with the latest standards. The cable is designed for use in mechanical engineering, construction, metallurgy and in installations requiring high resistance to fire and corrosion. Its flexible construction makes installation easier even in difficult conditions.

Construction and properties

The OZ-500 HMH cable is distinguished by careful workmanship and the use of high-quality materials. Multi-wire copper conductors (class 5) provide good flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. The core insulation is made of halogen-free TI6 compound, which minimizes the risk of toxic gas formation in the event of a fire. Black cores are permanently marked with white numbers, which facilitates identification during installation and maintenance. The whole is surrounded by a halogen-free outer jacket made of TM7 compound in grey (RAL 7001).

It is worth noting a number of tests and certificates confirming its properties: fire resistance, self-extinguishing, no emission of corrosive gases and low flammability. The cable meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).

• Minimum bending radius: 4x cable diameter for fixed laying and 12.5x cable diameter for flexible laying – ensures comfortable work during installation.

Application and installation

The OZ-500 HMH cable is used as a measuring, control and steering cable in various branches of industry: mechanical engineering, metallurgy, steel industry and in construction. It will work well in both fixed and mobile installations (with the proviso that it is not exposed to strong tensile forces or frequent bending). It can be used in dry, wet and humid rooms, also surface-mounted.

The cable is available with two cores with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² and has an approximate outer diameter of 7.8 mm. Remember to choose the appropriate core cross-section depending on the current load of the installation! If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician or Onninen technical advisor.
