Cable HELUPOWER – Safety and reliability in every installation

The HELUPOWER 1100 RZ1-K cable is an advanced solution designed for permanent power installations, both in residential and public buildings. It is also suitable for energy distribution networks where ensuring the highest level of safety is crucial. This cable is particularly recommended for use in facilities with increased risk, such as office buildings, skyscrapers, or buildings of a People Hazard (ZL) nature from I to V categories. The possibility of laying inside and outside, in protective conduits or directly in the ground, makes it extremely versatile.

Construction and properties for professionals

The cable is designed for durability and resistance to extreme conditions. Its construction includes:

• un-tinned, multi-wire copper conductor class 5 (according to DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228 standards), which ensures flexibility and good conductivity;
• conductor insulation with XLPE type DIX 3 (according to UNE HD 603-1), guaranteeing high electrical resistance;
• conductor identification according to HD 308:S2 and DIN VDE 0293-308 for easy identification during installation;
• halogen-free filler on the core, increasing fire safety;
• outer sheath made of special LS0H (Low Smoke Halogen Free) in green color, minimizing the emission of toxic gases and smoke in case of fire.

Additionally, the cable is characterized by high resistance to UV radiation and oils, making it ideal for outdoor use and in harsh industrial conditions. The cable is metered for ease of installation.

Safety and compliance with standards

Safety is a priority in the case of HELUPOWER cables. This model meets strict European standards:

• has CPR class Cca-s1b, d1, a1 (EN 50575), which means limited flammability and low smoke emission;
• passed the single cable flame retardancy test (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2 / IEC 60332-1-2) and cable bundle test (DIN VDE 0482-332-3-24 / DIN 60332-3-24 / IEC 60332-3-24 – category C);
• is halogen-free (UNE-EN 60754-1 / IEC 60754-1) and has low corrosivity of gases produced during combustion (UNE-EN 60754-2 / IEC 60754-2);
• meets the requirements for oil resistance (DIN VDE 0473-811-404 / DIN EN 60811-404 / IEC 60811-404) and UV resistance (HD 605 S2).
• Has AENOR certificate.

The cable meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). The operating temperature range is from -40°C to +90°C stationary and from 0°C to +80°C flexible. The operating voltage is U0/U 0.6/1 kV and the test voltage is as high as 2000V. The minimum bending radius is 6x cable diameter for flexible laying and 4x cable diameter for fixed laying.
