This specialized cable with fluoropolymer PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) insulation is designed to operate in demanding environments where standard cables fail. It meets DIN VDE 0881 and IEC 60673 standards, guaranteeing safety and long-term operation. Construction and Application
The HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y cable is characterized by a silver-plated copper core, which ensures excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. PTFE-HELUFLON® insulation (compliant with DIN VDE 0207 part 6 and MIL-W 16878) provides exceptional chemical, thermal and electrical resistance. This cable finds wide application in installations and construction of control cabinet distribution systems operating in extreme temperatures – from furnaces and brickworks to kitchen appliances and measuring devices. It also performs perfectly in the chemical industry, where it is exposed to aggressive chemical substances such as acids, alkalis, solvents, oils and gasoline. The CE mark confirms compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.
