Application and Media

The valve operates in district heating, air conditioning, water supply, and other industrial installations. It is intended for fluids belonging to Group 2 according to Directive 97/23/EC — namely water, oils, and other media that do not react chemically with carbon steel. It is not suitable for aggressive or corrosive substances — only those that do not damage the construction material.

Operating Conditions and Durability

The permissible operating temperature ranges from -20°C to +200°C, allowing use in both cooling systems and high-temperature district heating circuits. The working pressure reaches up to 40 bar (4.0 MPa), in accordance with PN-EN 12266-1. Note: although the manufacturer specifies a range of 1.6–4.0 MPa for this model, the valve is designed for maximum load — it does not need to be "stressed" to its limit, but includes a safety margin for pressure fluctuations.

Construction and Installation

Full-bore ball valve with butt-weld end design — meaning it has no threads or flanges. Installation is performed by direct welding to the pipe, eliminating potential leaks at mechanical joints. Standardly equipped with a manual operating handle; versions with a worm gear reducer or ready for reducer installation are also available — useful in hard-to-reach locations or where frequent operation is required.

The warranty period is 2 years — confirming structural stability and manufacturing quality. The ŚZSJ Certificate No. 2/17 and Declaration Number 36/AP are available and confirm compliance with applicable standards.
