Application and Media

The valve is intended for systems conveying media that do not react with carbon steel — primarily water, oils, and other liquids used in district heating, air conditioning, water supply, and industrial networks. It complies with Directive 97/23/EC for Group 2 fluids, meaning it can be used in pressurized installations without additional restrictions regarding the medium.

Construction and Operating Conditions

The full-bore valve is made of carbon steel, ensuring resistance to mechanical loads and long-term operation in aggressive environments. The welded valve is installed by welding, eliminating the risk of leaks at connections and ensuring sealing performance at an industrial installation level.

It operates over a wide temperature range: from -20°C to +200°C, making it suitable for both cooling systems and high-temperature district heating networks. The maximum working pressure is 1.6–4.0 MPa (25–40 bar), corresponding to PN25 to PN40 classes — sufficient for most industrial and power plant installations.

Compliance and Advantages

Compliant with standard PN-EN 12266-1, guaranteeing leak testing and reliable operation during cyclic opening and closing. The ŚZSJ Certificate No. 2/17 and declaration number 36/AP confirm compliance with Polish safety requirements.

The valve is supplied with a handle. A version with a worm gear or prepared for gear installation is available — the choice depends on the installation requirements.
