Solution for circuit distribution in industrial installations

The single-pole distribution block with a rated current of 125 A is designed for power distribution in stationary switchboards. The device, mounted on a DIN rail, occupies 2 modules in width and allows for the connection of up to 16 wires - consisting of four large cross-section terminals (up to 50 mm²) and twelve standard terminals (1.5-10 mm²). Thanks to the screw connection, every wire is held securely, eliminating the risk of loosening during operation.

The design is protected against accidental contact with live parts - the insulating cover meets safety requirements in this regard. The housing withstands the action of a glowing wire at a temperature of 960 °C in accordance with the EN 60695-2-11 standard, demonstrating the material's resistance to extreme thermal conditions. The maximum peak short-circuit current is 35 kA, so the block can handle even serious network faults.

Construction and connection capabilities

The housing dimensions are 104.5 × 36 × 44 mm - the compact form fits into a standard modular enclosure. Large upper terminals accommodate rigid wires from 16 to 50 mm² and flexible wires from 16 to 35 mm². Smaller lower terminals accept both rigid and flexible wires in the range of 1.5-10 mm², allowing for the distribution of lines with different cross-sections without additional adapters.

The block is equipped with a Lexic label holder - the installer can mark each circuit with a legible description, which significantly facilitates later diagnostics and service. An important feature is the possibility of association - several single-pole blocks can be connected together to create a multi-pole distributor (e.g., three-phase), providing flexibility when designing a switchboard for specific installation needs.

Application and compatibility

The product is effective as a main or sub-distribution element in building and industrial switchboards. The rated current of 125 A and the wide range of connected wire cross-sections allow for both powering high-power loads (motors, furnaces) and distribution into smaller circuits protected by circuit breakers.

The block fits standard DIN rails used in switchboards from all manufacturers - there are no compatibility issues with Legrand XL3 HP enclosures or other brands. It can be used with both single-core and multi-core wires - the screw connection ensures stable electrical contact regardless of the conductor type.

Safety and standards

The device meets European requirements regarding the thermal resistance of insulating parts supporting live elements. The insulating cover against contact eliminates the risk of electric shock during normal switchboard operation. The design enables the implementation of selectivity and cascading in power distribution systems - the manufacturer provides technical documentation confirming the correctness of such solutions.
