This PLC controller from Unitronics combines the functionality of industrial process control with intuitive operation thanks to the built-in, color HMI panel with a diagonal of 3.5 inches. This device is an effective solution for a wide range of automation applications, from simple production lines to more complex control systems.

Flexibility and versatility

The controller offers a rich set of inputs and outputs, adapted to diverse needs. The V350-J-TR20 model features 10 digital inputs, 2 digital-analog inputs (accepting 0-10 Vdc and 0/4-20 mA signals), 6 relay outputs and 2 transistor outputs. This configuration allows for direct control of various installation elements – from sensors and valves to motors and heaters. Additionally, the ability to expand via an expansion port allows support for up to 512 additional input/output points.

Intuitive operation and programming

The integrated HMI panel with a color QVGA TFT screen (256 colors) provides easy visualization of processes and enables interactive system operation. The ability to display graphic files (gif, jpg, bmp) and define up to 1024 screens (with a maximum of 250 images per application) allows you to create a clear and user-friendly interface. Programming is done in ladder logic, which is a standard in industrial automation. The program memory is 1MB, and the scan time for a 1k program is only 15 µs – guaranteeing fast and reliable system operation.

Additional functions and applications

The controller is equipped with a number of additional functions, such as a real-time clock with memory backup for 7 years (thanks to the battery), PID controllers with auto tuning function, high-speed counters (up to 10 kHz) and two RS232/485 ports. Support for Modbus master/slave protocols and optionally CANbus and Profibus increases its compatibility with other devices in the installation. This makes the controller applicable in many industries:
