The COMPACT HCFB 4 450/HA axial fan is designed for efficient air exchange in facilities with diverse purposes, ranging from large production halls and warehouses to smaller workshops or commercial premises. Its construction enables effective ventilation of specific spaces such as parking garages, greenhouses, or breeding rooms (e.g., pigsties and poultry houses), as well as integration with air conditioning systems. A key advantage of this model is its compact design, which allows wall mounting in any position – it does not matter whether the fan operates horizontally, vertically, or at an angle. This provides the installer with flexibility in selecting the location, while the end user receives a solution tailored to the building's architectural specifics.

Construction and resistance to external conditions

The Compact series is distinguished by robust construction, ensuring long service life even in challenging environmental conditions. The impeller is made of glass-fiber-reinforced thermoplastic (HCFB series), a material resistant to UV radiation and atmospheric factors. This type of plastic is lighter than aluminum, facilitating dynamic balancing of the impeller in accordance with ISO 1940 – reducing vibrations and noise levels during operation. The housing is stamped from steel sheet and protected against corrosion through cathodic painting with primer and a polyester topcoat. Additionally, fastening elements are made of stainless steel, eliminating the risk of rust at connection points. The device is suitable for operation within a wide temperature range: from -40°C to +70°C (for models with diameters of 800–1000 mm, the range is -20°C to +40°C), making it a universal choice for the Polish climate regardless of the season.

Operating parameters and operational safety

The 450 W asynchronous motor ensures an airflow rate of approximately 6760 m³/h at a maximum static pressure of 130 Pa. The impeller rotational speed is 1380 rpm, which, with a single-phase supply voltage of 230 V (or three-phase 400 V depending on the version), generates a current intensity of around 2.3 A. The noise level during operation does not exceed 65 dB(A), allowing the fan to be used in locations requiring moderate acoustic levels. An important aspect for safety is insulation class F and protection rating IP65 (for most models in this series), which protect the motor against water and dust ingress. The device also features thermal winding protection against overload and is suitable for voltage-based speed control (except for two-pole motors). The total weight is approximately 13 kg, facilitating transport and installation without the need for heavy lifting equipment. It is worth noting that this model delivers an efficiency of approximately 6760 m³/h with a power consumption of 450 W, making it an effective solution for medium and large industrial or utility spaces.
