Extending the functionality of the CTX3 Mini series

This auxiliary module enables flexible expansion of the control circuit when the standard number of contacts in the contactor is insufficient. It is designed for direct mounting on the front part of CTX3 Mini series contactors, eliminating the need for additional mounting rails or complex external connections. This allows the installer to quickly add feedback signals to control circuits without replacing the power unit itself.

Contact configuration and connection method

The device is equipped with two normally open contacts (2NO), which close the circuit upon activation of the main contactor. This configuration is ideal for applications requiring "ON" status signaling or control of further automation components, such as indicator lamps or PLC inputs. The maximum operating current for these contacts is 3 A at 230 V AC (category AC-15), which is sufficient for safely switching typical signaling and control loads.

Wire connection is made via screw terminals, ensuring a durable and mechanically stable connection resistant to vibrations occurring in industrial distribution boards. This solution is preferred by installers due to the ease of verifying tightening torque and reliable contact even during long-term operation.

Top (front) mounting ensures that the assembly maintains a compact distribution board structure, and the additional module does not significantly increase its width.
