Simple adapter with a press-fit sleeve for gas thread

The press-fit connection for a 28 mm diameter joins with an external BSPT-R thread (1 inch), enabling direct connection to gas installations compliant with EN 10226-1. The one-piece construction, without seals, ensures rigidity and resistance to deformation during installation — eliminating the risk of twisting or leakage due to damaged seals.

A stop flange on the sleeve side facilitates precise pipe insertion and prevents displacement during pressing. Both ends are electrolytically galvanized — both the sleeve and the thread — enhancing corrosion resistance in humid conditions without the need for additional protective coatings.

The material is carbon steel, not intended for potable water. It operates stably at pressures up to 16 bar at 20°C — sufficient for most gas and low-temperature heating installations. It contains no EPDM elastomer or other seals; tightness is ensured solely by the mechanical press-fit connection and the tapered thread.

Not suitable for systems requiring UL, FM, or ULC certifications. It includes no valves, air vents, or reduction capabilities — it is a pure, functional "sleeve-to-thread" connection without unnecessary extras.

Installation requires appropriate pressing jaws with a B profile (Rems V) for diameters 15–54 mm. The pipe to be pressed must be made of non-alloy steel E195 (1.0034), compliant with PN-EN 10305-3.
