The 36 V cordless string trimmer (comprising two 18 V cells) is a solution that eliminates the need for power cords or heavy gasoline engines. The device is powered by a brushless DC motor, resulting in a longer mechanism lifespan and higher energy efficiency compared to traditional solutions. Thanks to ADT (Automatic Torque Drive Technology) electronics, the tool automatically adjusts torque and rotational speed to the hardness of the grass being trimmed. This means that in dense lawns the motor does not lose power, while in delicate grass it consumes less energy, which is crucial for optimizing runtime on a single charge.

The kit includes two 5.0 Ah batteries, allowing for continuous operation without the need for frequent battery changes. The LXT power system ensures compatibility with a wide range of other tools from the brand, simplifying logistics for larger equipment fleets.

Operator Safety and Comfort

Operating a string trimmer requires not only strength but, above all, control over the device. This model is equipped with AFT (Active Feedback Sensing Technology), which detects sudden slowdowns or jams of the line/cutting head and immediately shuts off the motor. This is a critical safeguard against the so-called "kickback" of the device, which can lead to operator injury. Additionally, the electric brake allows for rapid stopping of the cutting head after releasing the trigger, enhancing safety when maneuvering around obstacles or finishing work.

The loop handle design and the included shoulder strap distribute the machine's weight (approx. 3.9–4.5 kg depending on the installed batteries) evenly across the user's shoulders. Low vibration levels (≤ 2.5 m/s²) and quiet operation (sound power level up to 89.2 dB(A)) make the tool comfortable even during multi-hour use. XPT technology further protects the interior from dust and moisture ingress, which is invaluable when working in adverse weather conditions or on dusty construction sites.

Cutting Flexibility and Complete Starter Kit

The string trimmer offers three levels of rotational speed adjustment (from 3500 to 6500 rpm), allowing precise adaptation of operating parameters to the type of vegetation:

• Low speed: ideal for delicate mowing around fences and ornamental trees.
• Medium speed: universal application on standard lawns.
• High speed: essential for dense grass or weeds with thick stems.

The device also features a reverse rotation function, facilitating self-cleaning of the head from wound line or plant debris without the need for manual cleaning. The cutting width can be adjusted depending on the installed cutting element – from 230 mm for precision work up to 350 mm when using a dual-line spool with a diameter of 2.0–2.4 mm or appropriate metal/plastic blades (spindle thread M10 x 1.25 LH).

Thanks to such comprehensive equipment, the tool is ready for immediate use upon removal from the box. The standard packaging includes an automatic dual-line cutting head and a set of three alternative plastic blades with a cutting width of 255 mm, plus one four-tooth metal blade designed for tougher vegetation. Additionally, dedicated guards are provided for both the disc blade and the line head to ensure safety during operation. The set is completed by a comfortable shoulder strap and a set of hex keys (sizes 4x70 mm and 5x80 mm) stored in a special pouch. Power is supplied by two 5.0 Ah Li-ion batteries along with the DC18RD charger. The battery protection circuit ensures that the cells are not overloaded or excessively discharged, extending their cyclic lifespan and protecting the investment in the equipment fleet.
