Application and Operating Characteristics

The TCBT 4 560/LB axial fan is a device dedicated to high-volume air flow in duct systems, where reliability under demanding operating conditions is critical. Its design makes it suitable for large production halls and warehouses, as well as specific agricultural facilities such as pigsties and poultry houses, and also for parking garages and greenhouses. Thanks to the possibility of direct installation within the ventilation duct, the device does not occupy additional space, which is essential when modernizing existing installations or designing new systems with limited volume.

The motor, with a power of 2,2 kW (at 400 V), delivers an efficiency of approximately 12 090 m³/h, enabling rapid air exchange even in spacious facilities. It is important to note the direction of airflow – in this model, air moves from the impeller to the motor (HB), which is significant when planning the ventilation layout and pollutant extraction. The device is designed to operate with a medium at temperatures ranging from -40°C to +70°C, making it a universal solution not only for general ventilation but also for systems requiring resistance to thermal fluctuations.

Construction and Environmental Resistance

The robust construction of this fan is based on an impeller made of aluminum sheet, which has undergone dynamic balancing in accordance with ISO 1940-1. This ensures quiet and stable operation while minimizing the risk of mechanical vibrations – a key factor for the longevity of both the fan itself and the duct system components. The housing is protected against corrosion through cathodic electrocoating (primer) and a polyester coating, enhancing resistance to moisture and aggressive chemical agents commonly found, for example, in breeding facilities or workshops.

An IP 65 protection rating and insulation class F guarantee safe motor operation even in environments with elevated humidity or dust presence. Connection elements made of stainless steel further increase the structure's resistance to rust. This fan is also compatible with frequency control (for three-phase motors), allowing precise adjustment of performance to current ventilation needs without the need to replace the entire unit.

Key Operational Features

The device is characterized by high efficiency of approximately 12 090 m³/h at a rotational speed of about 1415 rpm, ensuring effective air circulation in large spaces. Power supply is provided at 400 V (three-phase system), with a power consumption of 2,2 kW. A key safety aspect is the high protection rating of IP 65 and insulation class F, which allow operation under challenging environmental conditions.

For installers, the possibility of frequency regulation and the airflow direction from impeller to motor (HB) are also important. The impeller material – dynamically balanced aluminum – along with the anti-corrosive coatings of the housing, guarantee stable operation over an extended period without the need for frequent maintenance. The operating temperature range from -40°C to +70°C enables the fan to be used in unheated facilities or those requiring the extraction of hot process gases.
