Universal electro-hydraulic crimping tool for pipes

The Rothenberger ROMAX AC ECO electro-hydraulic crimping tool is a reliable tool designed for crimping various types of fittings, used by both professional installers and DIY enthusiasts. The 230V mains-powered unit offers a crimping force of 32-34 kN, allowing work with pipes with a diameter of 12 to 110 mm – depending on the system and crimping jaws used.

Design and application

The ROMAX AC ECO features an ergonomic design, rubberized housing and balanced construction, which translates to comfortable work even during long tasks. A rotating head (270°) facilitates access to hard-to-reach places. Automatic piston return after the crimping cycle increases work efficiency. The crimping tool is used in water, heating and gas installations where a durable and tight connection of elements is required. CFT (Constant Force Technology) ensures a constant pressing force for 10,000 crimping cycles, guaranteeing high connection quality.

Safety and functionality

The safety of use is enhanced by a safety switch and a system that prevents the jaw from being released during operation. A long power cord (5 m) provides freedom of movement. In addition, the versatility of the device is confirmed by the possibility of using jaws from other manufacturers, e.g. REMS. The basic set includes a carrying case for easy storage and transport of the crimping tool. The crimping tool is supplied without crimping jaws – they should be selected depending on the type of connections to be made.
