Heater Condens water heaters

Over the last dozen or so years, we have been observing new trends in increasing the efficiency of heat sources. All types of boiler equipment and gas heaters based on old-type atmospheric burners are practically becoming obsolete. In their place, PREMIX burners and condensing burners appear as standard.

Both standard and industrial heat pumps are increasingly used to replace the somewhat outdated technologies of solid fuel boilers. At the same time, standards for minimizing heat loss through all types of building partitions are changing, and more and more energy-efficient windows, insulating materials and passive technology are emerging. We are also observing an increase in interest in air curtains, the purpose of which is to retain the accumulated heating or cooling energy in a given room.

Main advantages of HEATER CONDENS

  • high increase in supply air temperature [ΔT] - including at low temperature of the heating medium.
  • maximum use of the exchanger's heating surface - new "dense" heat exchanger geometry.
  • optimized air flow – high supply temperature at all fan speeds.

The effect of introducing the above changes is a constant reduction in the temperature of the heating medium that powers various types of heating and ventilation devices. SONNIGER, as a manufacturer of HEATER water heaters, carefully observes these market trends and, in response to new standards, introduces a new product to the market - the HEATER CONDENS water heater. HEATER CONDENS is a new line of water heaters dedicated to work with low-temperature
heating agents (condensing boilers, industrial heat pumps), which, in accordance with the requirements of EcoDesing 2021, are becoming a new standard in the industry.

Sonniger heaters Currently, the biggest challenge for manufacturers of heating devices is the maximum use of the temperature of the medium supplied from increasingly effective heat sources (i.e. a medium with substantially lower thermal energy than before - widely used 90 or 80°C in the supply). This challenge caused us to completely redesign the HEATER heater line so that:
make maximum use of the heating power at a relatively low temperature of the heating medium.

Based on analyzes and research, we have developed an optimal system of parameters for HEATER CONDENS heaters, which will allow you to enjoy good heating effects also when working on low-temperature installations. Nowadays, it is not the air flow that determines the efficiency of the device, but the heating power and the increase in air temperature that can be generated! In HEATER CONDENS heaters, we have optimized the flow rate in such a way as to eliminate situations that frequently appear on the market in which the heater generates a "cold" air stream at higher speeds, which is often due to the oversizing of the fan flow and, at the same time, undersizing of the heat exchanger. In the case of a low temperature heating medium
this effect is intensified. In HEATER CONDENS devices, in addition to the optimally selected air flow rate, we have also thickened the structure of the heat exchanger itself - we have reduced the spacing between the fins, increased their thickness, and also increased the number of heating cycles - all in order to obtain the maximum ΔT effect in terms of transferring the thermal energy of the heating medium. to the air supplied to the room. This, on the one hand, quite bold and, on the other hand, obvious change, introduces a completely new perspective on the use of HEATER CONDENS heaters in combination with low-temperature heat sources.

As one of the first companies on the market, SONNIGER also implements a new standard for the presentation of reliable technical data. All technical parameters of HEATER CONDENS in terms of air flow, heating power, generated temperature increase and operating noise have been positively verified by the Accredited Test Laboratory ETELAB L1579. An associate member of EUROVENT since 2015. Eurovent is the European Industrial Association for Indoor Environments (HVAC).

Our next challenge is also to popularize standard (GUARD) and industrial (GUARDPRO) air curtains. Together with designers and contractors, we must take up the challenge of securing heat losses through open gates, doors, docks, etc. No optimizations in terms of the temperature of the medium or an increase in the insulation of building partitions are justified if, for example, in winter we open the entrance gate to the hall for 15 minutes and we allow our precious heat to escape uncontrollably. This is the task for the GUARDPRO industrial curtain. The same applies to standard GUARD curtains - intended for all types of stores,
banks, gas stations, other commercial facilities.
