Casing pipe - application

Protective pipes are used to protect power and telecommunications cables. They are designed for laying underground cables and cables in open spaces. HDPE polyethylene is mainly used for their production - a high-density plastic, extremely durable, and at the same time flexible. HDPE polyethylene protective pipes perfectly protect cables from moisture and other external factors. They are resistant to water, extreme temperatures, chemicals, compression and impact. Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is used less often for the production of protective pipes. Protective pipes are usually part of a comprehensive system, which also includes connectors, seals, handles and other products that provide protection for cables and wires in a variety of locations and conditions.

Casing pipes for underground installation

Two-layer corrugated casing pipes are used to protect cables laid in the ground in open trenches. They have a characteristic, corrugated, double-walled structure, which determines high resistance to compression. Another solution is smooth-walled casing pipes. They also protect cables laid in the ground in open trenches. Depending on the parameters, they are suitable for pressing and/or drilling. The choice is between pipes intended for places not exposed to transport loads (pedestrian traffic only) and for difficult terrain conditions, withstanding maximum transport loads.

Protective pipes for open spaces

Corrugated and smooth-walled protective pipes are used to protect cables laid in open spaces, poles, building walls, etc. The corrugated pipe provides excellent mechanical strength while maintaining high flexibility, necessary for the correct installation of cables and wires. It is used in places where UV protection is required, e.g. in photovoltaic installations.

Bridge casing pipes

Bridge pipe systems provide protection for cables on bridges, viaducts and other engineering structures. They minimise the risk of mechanical damage to cables and reduce the negative impact of ultraviolet radiation. Bridge casing pipes have extended sockets, which allows for compensation of changes in the length of the pipeline due to differences in ambient temperatures. Thanks to fixed point stabilizers, there is no movement of the pipes as a result of periodic vibrations of the structure.
