Corrugated protective conduits – cable protection in the ground

The corrugated pipe in coils QRK 32/50 FLEX blue is an element of the Q PROTECT system, designed for the safe routing of electrical cables in the ground. The pipe's construction, based on a double-wall technology and a corrugated surface, provides high resistance to crushing – up to 450N. This is crucial if the installation is to meet the requirements of PN-EN 61386-24 and the regulation of the Minister of Infrastructure of 2005 concerning telecommunications construction facilities.

The pipe is supplied in coils of 50 meters in length, which facilitates transport and installation on the construction site. In addition, the set includes a connector and a rope, which significantly speed up the process of pulling cables through the pipe. This saves time for the installer and later comfort of use.

Construction and properties

Made of polyethylene (PE) with an outer diameter of 32 mm, the pipe is characterized by high flexibility and a small bending radius. This allows it to be adapted to complex cable routes without the need for additional connecting elements. The smooth inner wall minimizes friction during cable pulling, which further facilitates installation and protects cable insulation from damage.

It is worth mentioning that the QRK FLEX pipe is also available in a UV version – with the addition of a stabilizer protecting against the harmful effects of sunlight. The blue color is standardly used for diameters up to 110 mm, and larger diameters may be available in red or other colors on request.
