- support for modern PM, BLDC, SyncREL engines
- varnished electronics boards - greater resistance to environmental conditions (dust, moisture)
- Fire Mode, for fire-fighting fan applications.
- extended monitoring, including e.g. measurement of active engine power (pump applications)

The DC1+ series has a type designation similar to DC1 with a difference in the suffix where the last N is replaced by CE1.

Full downward compatibility (functions and dimensions) with the DC1 series.

Parameterizable via Bluetooth (DX-COM-STICK required).
