The transducer measures the pressure difference between the greater pressure P1
and the smaller P2. The mechanical differential pressure value is converted to an analog linear 4-20 mA electrical signal. MEMS technology was used for the measurement, using a special chip developed by Grundfos. DPI has a very wide range of applications: industry, laboratories, pump applications, installations. It can be used as a control and monitoring element in control and automation systems, pumping systems, pumps and pipelines, compressed air applications.
