Heat pumps are a key element of modern heating and cooling systems, providing energy efficiency and reducing carbon dioxide emissions. In response to the growing demand for ecological heating solutions, ESBE offers a wide range of products that can be used in heat pump systems, ensuring their efficiency and reliability. In this article, we will take a look at exactly what ESBE solutions offer for these ecological systems.

Essential accessories for heat pumps from ESBE
Heat pumps are an efficient and most ecological way to heat rooms. For them to function optimally and reliably, it is crucial to use the right components, such as those offered by ESBE .
For heat pumps with a heating circuit and a domestic hot water tank, ESBE offers VZC / VZD series diverter valves, which are used in installations with the most popular "domestic" heat pumps in the power range of 5-15kW.
The VZC and VZD series valves are a range of compact brass diverter valves for use in heat pumps, underfloor heating and heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Their main feature is the ability to quickly change the flow direction between two circuits, which means energy-efficient operation. The valves in this series can perform a switching or mixing function depending on the medium supplied to a given nozzle or valve port.
The advantages of this series are compact dimensions, fast switching time (3 seconds) and zero internal leakage. Additionally, these valves have protection against jamming, i.e. they have a built-in function of automatic valve movement after 7 days of inactivity.
The range includes valves with three types of connections – internal thread, external thread or compression fitting. The ESBE VZC series valves are available with or without a detachable cable and have an IP20 protection class. The VZC series valves without a cable are supplied with a Molex connector for connecting a user-selected cable with a maximum length of 100 m. The ESBE VZD valves, on the other hand, are supplied with a permanently attached cable and have an IP40 protection class.
Solutions for heat pumps with larger heating capacities: ESBE MBA valves
The next product group are the MBA130 series changeover valves. This is a range of 3-way ball valves with electric drive, successfully used for heat pumps with higher heating capacities. With valves of this series, there is no possibility of choosing the method of cable attachment, however, they are available in versions with diameters DN 20-25 and have a wide selection of types of connections.
MBA valves are characterized by exceptional tightness, thanks to which they do not let air bubbles through, and a higher Kvs coefficient value, as this range is from 9.6 to 11.3. The design of the MBA130 series valves allows for handling greater pressure drops, allows for a differential pressure of 2 bar, and the housing protection class is IP44 in each case.
Precise mixing and temperature comfort: Pump groups from ESBE
Another product that enjoys great popularity is the GRC series pump group from ESBE. ESBE GRC200 series pump groups are used wherever precise mixing and high temperature comfort are important. Mixing groups are equipped with controllers and used in rooms where temperature control is required, achieved using the mixing function. An example of an application is a heat pump serving several zones equipped with GRC200 pump groups. The device adjusts the water temperature to the temperature required in the heating circuit based on the heating curve or room temperature. For optimal control and energy management, the GRC200 series can control the circulation pump according to different principles.
The GRC200 series is equipped with a rotary progressive mixing valve, a CRx200 series controller, two shut-off valves with thermometers, a non-return valve, high-class insulation and a high-performance circulation pump. The pump group provides the best regulation (independent of the flow rate) and a low risk of oversizing thanks to the progressive valve characteristic and excellent heating curve characteristics.
The pump group of this series has a compact design and high-class insulation, and also has a QuickFit connection function between the actuator and the valve, which means easy assembly/disassembly without the need for tools.
In addition, in April this year, ESBE introduced a new product to the Polish market – the Flexbox distribution module series GMB600. The distribution module is an extremely simple and flexible solution that allows for the management of zone heating. A three-circuit manifold is pre-mounted in the module. It has a thermal separation function between supply and return and an integrated hydraulic separator. The bypass function can be easily controlled using an adjustment screw.
Flexbox distribution modules for heating circuits
The Flexbox distribution module of the GMB600 series from ESBE acts as a distribution unit that can handle two or three heating circuits. It can be freely configured in the heating system by selecting the appropriate pump groups for the installation.
Installing ESBE pump groups in the Flexbox GMB600 series distribution module allows you to divide the building into several heating zones and at the same time reduce energy consumption. This provides full control over the heating circuits and temperature comfort in different rooms.
These are just a few products from the extensive range of ESBE, which has been providing installers worldwide with the highest quality products for over 100 years. More information about heat pump products and more can be found on the manufacturer's website by scanning the QR code.
