The Ferro company has been providing customers with products in the sanitary fittings, installation and heating technology industries for thirty years. It is a leading manufacturer of this type of products not only in Poland, but also throughout Central and Eastern Europe. All Ferro products are made of the highest quality materials, with exquisite attention to the smallest construction detail. This approach to design results in exceptionally durable and reliable products.

In the case of ball valves, the durability of the products becomes extremely important. By introducing the latest series of valves called F-Power, Ferro further raises the durability standards compared to both other products of this type available in its offer, as well as valves from other manufacturers present on the water fittings market.

Materials used and valve operating parameters

All F-Power line valves are made of CW617N-4MS brass. It is a material characterized by an extremely low nickel content (maximum 0.1%) and lead (maximum 2.2%). The ecological values of these products are also worth emphasizing due to the fact that the inner surface of the valve in contact with water is not nickel-plated. Increasing cases of nickel allergy encourage water fittings manufacturers to limit the use of this element in their products. The F-Power series valves are therefore ideal for drinking water installations due to their low nickel content. PTFE - Teflon was used to seal the ball and valve stem.

The F-Power line is also unique due to its versatility and multitude of possible applications. In addition to water installations, F-Power are also suitable for installation in compressed air, cooling and solar systems (with a glycol solution with a maximum concentration of 50%).

The maximum operating temperature for the latest generation valves is high 120°C. The minimum temperature is -30°C (for a glycol solution at a maximum concentration of 50%).

The range of permissible nominal pressure for F-Power valves is interesting. It is, depending on the size and model:

  • for the nominal diameter range, from 10 mm to 50 mm: 30 bar (3.0 MPa),
  • for the nominal diameter range, from 65 mm to 100 mm: 25 bar (2.5 MPa),
  • for selected smaller models (e.g. valves for soldering, flush-mounted, with drain tip): 16 bar (1.6 MPa).

Variety of models included in the series

F-Power includes as many as nineteen models, each available in several sizes. These include screw-on valves, screw-on screw-on valves, screw-on screw-on valves, screw-on valves with a screw connection, screw-on valves with a half-connection, angle valves, with a filter, with an M10x1 connection for mounting a temperature sensor, with a filter, with a manual air vent and a plug, with drain tip, flush-mounted, for soldering. Individual models also differ in terms of the manual drive used (which enables cutting off the medium flow). Products with a metal lever, a butterfly, a knob with a rosette are available. Most of the valves in the F-Power series are full-port valves (with the same diameter as the pipe to which the valve is screwed).

F-Power – durability and reliability

F-Power valves were designed and manufactured using ABT (Advanced Body Technology), based on advanced design and material solutions.

Ten years - this is the warranty period for the products from the discussed F-Power line. The fact that Ferro provides such a long warranty proves that the manufacturer has taken exceptional care of the durability, strength and failure-free nature of its products. As a result, we received a series of products: solid, reliable and long-lasting.
