Drain with pump - a revolution under the floor
Several years have passed since Pentair Water manufactured the first fully functional floor drain with an integrated pump called Plancofix in the Jung factory in Germany. This type of drainage is used wherever it is impossible to drain water from the floor using gravity. Thanks to this device , installing showers has become possible in places where previously it could only be dreamed of . The technical possibilities of modernizing existing bathrooms and building new ones have expanded significantly.
It seemed that the 11 cm barrier was impossible to break, and that was the case until a new solution appeared - Plancofix Plus . Well, better is the enemy of good... The new Plancofix Plus requires an even smaller installation depth . Why is "lower height" such a big advantage in this case?
If the height of the floor structure is limited, every centimeter saved is of great importance. When using Plancofix Plus, we save 1.5 cm of installation depth compared to Plancofix development. If it is necessary to further reduce the installation depth, you can remove the bottom acoustic-insulating housing element and save another centimeter.
As a rule, just a few centimeters of pumping height is enough to pump dirty water from point A to point B. Plancofix Plus therefore provides adequate reserves to safely transport sewage from the shower to the nearest sewage pipe. In addition, Plancofix Plus impresses with its extremely quiet operation. The noise level is less than 30 dB(A) and is therefore barely audible.
Plancofix Line - the next step
However, Jung engineers have not yet said the last word. In this way, the family of "grids" with a pump has expanded once again. Plancofix Line makes the installation of a shower without a shower even easier . The device is delivered with a complete 1.2 m long shower channel. The channel can be easily cut and adjusted to the individual size of the shower cabin.
The advantage of a shower channel is obvious: the tiler only needs to make an inclination towards the supplied gutter . Complex cutting of tiles to bring water to the drainage point can be omitted. Moreover, the shower user no longer has to stand on the floor drain in the middle of the shower cabin, as it can be installed close to the wall.
The factory-applied sealing fabric meets water resistance class W3-I and crack class R3-I in accordance with DIN 18534. This guarantees the highest protection against leaks and cracks . This, in turn, ensures maintenance-free and failure-free operation for a long time. Pure benefit!

When the pump itself is not enough
