Small element, big difference in work
B-Lock is a suspension system based on a steel wire working with a hanger equipped with a locking mechanism. The wire is inserted into the appropriate channel in the hanger, and the mechanism keeps it in place. Release buttons allow for adjusting the length of the suspension and matching the height of the installation. The adjustment itself is done without any additional tools.
What does this mean on the construction site? When it is necessary to align the next sections of the cable route or set fixtures in a straight line, the ability to make quick corrections facilitates work. The manufacturer also indicates that the installation of B-Lock is faster than the installation of traditional suspensions on threaded rods. This is particularly beneficial for tasks where a similar action is repeated dozens of times.
One system, various applications
The B-Lock series is designed for suspending various installations and building equipment elements. Among the applications, the manufacturer lists:

Load selection - specific and without guessing
In suspensions, convenience matters, but the starting point is always the correct selection of parameters. For the hanger B-Lock BL2, the manufacturer provides the following safe working loads:

The value "up to 70 kg" therefore refers to a specific configuration: BL2 with a 2.5 mm wire. When selecting a product, it is necessary to check the parameters of the specific variant and use a compatible wire indicated by the manufacturer.
When planning suspensions, it is also important to consider the load on individual points and the load-bearing capacity of the mounting to the substrate. In the case of cable routes, the total weight of the entire installation, including the wires, is significant.
Simple adjustment, installation according to instructions
B-Lock allows for easy height adjustment of the suspension, however, before releasing the mechanism, the weight of the installation must be supported. The manufacturer also requires leaving at least 100 mm of free wire end protruding from the hanger. Details on wire routing and permissible loop geometry are specified in the installation instructions.
Tool-free adjustment does not mean that no tools will be needed throughout the installation process. Preparing the mounting to the substrate and cutting the wire remain part of the installer's work.
Set or separate elements? Choose for your task
