First, you need to check the dimmer connection diagram. The process itself focuses on the wires - phase, protective and neutral. In the next step, you need to unscrew the clamping screws. You also need to check whether the screws can be screwed into the box. Also check whether the box is properly mounted. This means that it cannot change its position during the work you are doing. The protective and neutral wires should be connected to each other using connectors. On the other hand, you need to connect the phase wire to the L terminal, which is located in the dimmer.
