Home air conditioning financing programs in 2025:
Moje Ciepło is a priority program implemented with the Modernization Fund. It supports the purchase and installation of heat pumps in new single-family buildings, which is to contribute to the reduction of low emissions resulting from the use of inefficient heat sources. It is worth emphasizing that although heat pumps are mainly associated with the function of heating rooms, air-to-air models can be successfully used as air conditioners, cooling interiors in the summer season. Applications are accepted until the end of 2026.
- Clean Air is a program of co-financing the comprehensive thermal modernization of buildings and the replacement of old, inefficient solid fuel heat sources with modern devices that meet the highest standards. You can apply for a partial refund of eligible costs for the purchase of air conditioning with a heating function. The National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFOŚiGW) is responsible for the implementation of the program. The program is currently being "renovated". It will return this spring - in a new, improved version.
- The thermal modernization relief is a tax relief that can be used by owners and co-owners of single-family residential buildings who decide to invest in energy efficiency. It allows for deduction from personal income tax (PIT) of documented expenses incurred for the implementation of thermal modernization projects, including the purchase and installation of air conditioning with a heating function.
- The thermal modernization bonus is available to, among others, the owner of a single-family house for the implementation of a thermal modernization project. The support takes the form of repayment of part of the loan taken out by the investor.
- The RES grant is available to investors who decide to purchase, assemble, build or modernize a renewable energy source installation, e.g. invest in an air-to-air heat pump. Applications for the RES grant can be submitted to BGK until June 30, 2026.
In turn, companies interested in obtaining funds for air conditioning installation can use solutions such as a thermal modernization bonus, the Energia Plus priority program or an ecological credit. On the other hand, the Agroenergia program is addressed to farmers, people conducting business in the field of agricultural services and owners and lessees of agricultural properties. It promotes the use of renewable energy sources in agriculture.

How much does the air conditioning subsidy amount to in 2025?
When checking the subsidy amounts in the tables available on the websites of individual programs, you probably won't see the item " air conditioning " anywhere. It's best to look at the items regarding air-to-air heat pumps. Why? Because modern air conditioners, which are used for both cooling and heating rooms, resemble air-to-air heat pumps in terms of their operating technology.
You can get back up to PLN 11,000 from the Clean Air program. The My Heat program allows you to get funding of up to PLN 7,000 . Using the thermal modernization relief, you can deduct a maximum of PLN 53,000 from your tax. If you qualify for funding from the Agroenergia program, you can count on support of up to PLN 25,000.
What scope of investments does the 2025 air conditioning subsidy cover?
The Clean Air program will allow you to recover up to 100% of eligible costs. The Moje Ciepło program will cover up to 30% of eligible investment costs. The thermal modernization bonus is a subsidy to the loan - up to 26% of the project costs. The RES Grant received will provide you with refinancing of the completed investment in the amount of 50% of net costs.
