Wilo-Isar BOOST5 is a home pressure boosting system that combines an electric pump, electronics, inverter, check valves and control panel for quick and easy installation.
It can be used effectively in a wide variety of residential applications where there is a need to increase water pressure. This includes residential water distribution, the supply of irrigation systems, and the collection and distribution of water from tanks or rainwater tanks.
Wilo-Isar BOOST5 includes an inverter to maintain constant water pressure according to the user's actual needs. This also ensures particularly quiet operation, which is suitable for installation inside the apartment.

When the pressure sensor detects a drop in system pressure caused by the opening of one or more draw-off points, the electronics starts the pump to restore the set pressure value in the system.
The inverter changes the speed of the motor, modulating the hydraulic capacity according to the specific demand of the system.
Once pressure is restored, the flow sensor will detect the lack of water flow and stop the pump until the next system startup.
The system also provides protection against dry running, thermal protection of the motor and inverter against overheating, and electrical protection against sudden changes in voltage and current.
Modes of operation
Suction work. Wilo-Isar BOOST5 is factory-set as a device dedicated to operating in the mode of sucking water from a well or a tank in which the water level is below the pump stub.
Working with inflow. For installations supplied from storage tanks or the water supply network, it is recommended to switch the device to the inflow mode. This will further reduce the noise level.
