Wilo-Isar BOOST5 is a domestic pressure boosting system that combines an electric pump, electronics, frequency converter, non-return valves and a control panel for quick and easy installation.
It can be used effectively in a wide variety of residential applications where there is a need to increase water pressure. This includes residential water distribution, irrigation system supply, and collection and distribution of water from tanks or rainwater tanks.
Wilo-Isar BOOST5 includes a frequency converter to maintain a constant water pressure according to the actual needs of the user. This also ensures particularly quiet operation, which is suitable for installation inside the apartment.
The flexibility of the system and the ability to adapt to user requirements make it also effective in terms of reducing energy and water consumption.

Stable pressure, that's how Wilo-Isar BOOST5 works
When the pressure sensor detects a drop in system pressure caused by opening one or more draw-off points, the electronics activate the pump to restore the system pressure to the set value.
The inverter varies the motor speed, modulating hydraulic output according to specific system demand.
Once pressure is restored, the flow sensor will detect no water flow and stop the pump until the next system start.
The system also provides dry-running protection, thermal protection of the motor and inverter against overheating, and electrical protection against sudden changes in voltage and current.
Working modes
Working with suction. Wilo-Isar BOOST5 is factory-set as a device dedicated to operation in the mode of sucking water from a well or tank in which the water level is below the pump nozzle.
Working with the influx. For installations supplied from storage tanks or water mains, it is recommended to switch the device to the inflow mode. This will additionally reduce the noise level.
