After connecting to the Internet, the heat pump will inform the user about disruptions in the heat pump's operation by phone, automatically adjust its operation to current weather conditions, as well as to the current price of electricity in smart-grid systems, stabilizing the power grid. Moreover, thanks to two built-in antennas and wireless communication, the heat pump automatically signals the availability of the latest software version, thanks to which the device always has access to the latest smart functions.

NIBE S heat pumps are also equipped with an extremely intuitive and user-friendly display with a color touch panel, which allows you to control the heat pump directly on the touch screen. The new driver enables, among others: remote diagnostics of the heat pump, wireless connection of accessories with the possibility of communication in the cloud, wireless reading of humidity or carbon dioxide concentration in the room, and thanks to full system synchronization, all management and communication processes run smoothly. The improved design of S series heat pumps facilitates access and streamlines installation, and the built-in thermal energy meter enables ongoing control of the device's efficiency.
The heart of a smart home - the NIBE S1255 PC inverter ground heat pump
NIBE S1255 is the most technologically advanced NIBE ground heat pump with modulated heating power of up to 6, 12 or 16 kW. The 6 kW model is available with a built-in NIBE S1255 PC passive cooling module. The NIBE S1255 series is equipped with an inverter-controlled compressor and electronic circulation pumps with smooth speed regulation. Thanks to automatic adjustment of operating parameters to the current heat demand, the heat pump operates without spikes in energy consumption, which results in lower heating and hot water bills.
The use of inverter compressors also allows for shortening the system start-up time, safe selection of the device, no need to use a buffer tank, the possibility of expanding the house at a later time and quiet operation. The sound pressure level of the NIBE S1255-6 PC heat pump ranges from 21-28 dB(A) (according to EN 11203, at B0/W35 at a distance of 1 m), which means that the heat pump operates more quietly than a refrigerator.
